RAGE OF ANGELS...MY FIRST REVIEW...!!!

“Fate is sometimes cruel to beautiful souls”, I think as tears from my eyes splitter splatter on the last page of RAGE OF ANGELS by SIDNEY SHELDON. The cruel ending notwithstanding, this book is an amazing piece of work. It describes the struggles, joys, heartbreaks, and love of a soul. This book revolves around the life of a talented and determined woman, Jennifer Parker who grows up to be an attorney just like her father. But her career lasts only one day as she becomes the puppet in a scheme masterminded by the charming mafia boss Michael Moretti. Thus she roams about looking for work but a certain lawyer, Adam understands she was innocent and thus her career renewed she fights with all her might and captures the hearts of the people who once laughed at her. Some of the cases are truly interesting. She fights for the needy and not the people who can flex their muscles.
She falls in love with Adam. They enjoy some truly wonderful days but in the end love fails as Adam’s wife tricks them both cleverly. They part ways but they have already captured each other’s hearts. Adam leaves her with a son, whom she loves dearly, only to be betrayed again by god, who takes him away from her. In the mean time, she falls for Moretti who destroyed her career but saved her son. Adam appears again and Moretti plans to kill him. But Moretti gets killed and Jeniffer watches Adam being sworn in as the president of United States of America. She loses her happiness and heart but continues to survive to serve the needy the justice which is their birth right..The book keeps you hooked till the end but leaves you in tears wondering if sweet hearts are ever rewarded. It has all the aspects of a sydney sheldon book- good plots,nice and determined lead character,drama, deception and last but not the least a good language.So arm yourself with a kerchief before you begin reading this book which is a nice pleasant read.
