A Day...

The piercing whistle of the cooker,
the early morning bustle in the kitchen,
the brilliant reddish sky outside,
the clear crisp cool air,
drop in to say,'hey dude! get up',
and you open your eyes,
feeling ready to go,full of energy,
looking forward to a great day,
only to think,'uh it's only six!!!'

Morning comes knocking at your eyes,
and day after day, you find you are alive,
blessed with another day to live your life.

You have a great day ahead,
a day to spend on lectures,
a day to hang out with friends,
a day to feel love,
a day to spend on hobies,
a day to to spend laughing and jumping,
a day to spend crying and hating,
a day you can feel envious,
a day you can be on top of the world,
a day to remember forgotten friends,
a day to spend before the idiot box,
a day to spend meddling with cell phones,
a day to spend idealing with the system,
a day to visit places,
a day to be who you are,
a day you are in control of!!!

Be happy,be proud,
be sad,be depressed,
be joyful,be bubbly,
be envious,be mean,
but be who you are,
to make every day worth living,
cause life is just once,
